Party song

The party song, without anyone having to write it

A party song usually means someone sitting up the night before hunting for rhymes. With hurra, guests scan a QR code and tell a story, and usually two to six minutes later it plays as a finished song, written and sung in Danish. Nobody has to rehearse. Songs from DKK 599.

Party song or hurra?

A traditional Danish party song is printed lyrics to a well-known tune that everyone sings together. With hurra, finished recorded songs play for the room, one for each story. One doesn't rule out the other: plenty of parties have both.

A party song and hurra at the same party

The printed party song works well while everyone is at the table and can sing along. hurra can run for the rest of the evening: guests tell their stories whenever it suits them, and you play the songs when there's room for them, between courses or after the speeches, for example. From your phone you can pause the player while the party song is sung.

How a story becomes a song

  1. The guest scans the code on the table card or on the big screen.
  2. The guest writes a story and picks a genre and a voice.
  3. The lyrics are written in Danish from the guest's own words, and the song lands in your player.
